One of those great words that can be used in several ways. Life is sometimes classified as a noun.  Since Life is not a specific person or place it must be a THING.  A thing, a thing sits there like a coffee pot, or a table.
Life can also be classified as an adjective.. which would make it an description, adjectives give more information, makes a noun come to life (as it were)
Adjectives : crazy, funny, busy, lovely, big, beautiful, exciting.. (you get the idea) all the stuff that fills in the blanks, the stuff that makes something fun, exciting, loved.

My observations of life as of late..

Happiness is a choice, so is sadness. Don't rely on people to make you happy, you will always be let down. You can at any time CHOOSE happiness. I know crappy stuff happens. It happens to all of us. I could sit here and list all the things in my life that are less than fabulous, and I could work myself into a depression in about ten seconds.. but WHY?  Bad things happen to good people, that part we can't control, how you deal with it and react is 100% on you.

Show up. Even when you don't want to. Swing by that PTA meeting, go to coffee with that friend you haven't seen in forever. Go to your kids soccer games, drop by that party, or rummage sale, or tea, or bible study.  Show you care, you could make someone's whole day, and ya wanna know a secret? That person, will probably be you.

Call people back. If they took the time to call you and leave a message, take the time to reply. You don't have to be on the phone forever, but always call back.

Listen to people's stories. When someone wants to lean on you listen, don't talk. Sometimes people just want to vent, and sometimes they actually want advice, be able to discern between the two.

Don't say "How are you?" or "Let me know if you need anything" unless you really want to know or really want to help.

Love always. You would be surprised at the amount of love you have in you. Even on the days you feel the most cranky and crotchety.

Never give up. Things will get better. Even when they seem the most desperate, just keep pushing forward. Have faith in you. Be your own champion.

Make time to have fun. Jump on the trampoline, dance like a fool, be silly, play candy land, eat oreos for dinner, you can make the most dreary day a little happier just by doing something silly.

Call your family. Not just call your mom (I mean call her too),  but call that cousin, you know that one that you used to go sledding with when you were 4 and she now lives in Timbuktu, and you haven't talked to her in 15 years.. THAT cousin, and then call her sister.

PRAY. simple as

and Always remember I love you!

So is your life a noun or an adjective?
