The most heroing 16 and a half hours of my life

It's true what they say.. you really don't know what your capable of getting through until you are faced with insurmountable odds.  I was faced with such a task yesterday.. It happened around 6:30 last night, and then over the next 16 hours, I learned a lot about myself.  I learned that I am stronger than I ever thought I could be. I learned that I can be independent.  I learned that I can survive anything.

I should have seen this coming. There were signs, but I dismissed them. I thought it would be ok, nothing was wrong, it didn't mean anything.... little did I know what was waiting for me.

It started out small enough.. a few things seemingly going wrong, but I explained it away.. it couldn't be happening, maybe I just didn't want to believe it.  Then I had to face the facts..

My cell phone.. was broken! :* *sigh gasp sob**

I could not call, I could not text, I could not do anything.. all I had was a blank screen, and void in my existence.

I panicked, I shook, I wept silently.. but somehow I made it through.

I made it from 6:30 last night all the way until 11:14 this morning.. with OUT a cell phone.

As hard as this was for me, I decided to tell my story.  I wanted others to know that it is possible, and know that they too, if called/forced to do so, could live WITHOUT their cell phones.
