I'm proud of my kids for trying new things even when they don't succeed

You can only put so much stock in other people

I love having friends I can depend on

I'm already kinda over the whole gil scout cookie thing

The band sent me a bill

We are going to buy a new car hopefully soon.

I offend way too easily

Starbucks and lovely friends is a good way to start my day

The Trails is yummy

I like my house, it's cute, but I am looking forward to moving out of housing

One of my dearest friends is about to have a baby, I'm over the moon excited

Another is about to move and I'm kinda crushed

We spend 4 hours with our husbands in a uniform shop, followed by two hours looking for the right size of boot, because any time together right before a deployment is still time together. We try not to take the little things for granted for they become the biggest things when we don't have them any more. A friend made a comment today that got me thinking. (dangerous I know) So, I was wondering, (if ya'll wouldn't mind chiming in) at what age your kids either did or will do the following activities... ok so survey says..... How old was/ or will you child be when you let them.... play outside with no parental supervision- sleep over at a friend's house - wear make-up - have a bed time later than 7:30 - go on a date - there are no right or wrong answers here, just curious.  Everyone is different and what works for one may not work for another, so no answers will be judged.. I am just wondering where I fall in the averages :)

I have a friend

I have a friend who I am blatantly stealing this blog idea from. She inspires me, even when she doesn't know she's doing it. She balances me, she isn't afraid to tell me I'm being ridiculous, and loves me when I am. I have a friend who makes me laugh always. She's colorful, in personality and language, and has a heart of pure gold when it comes to her friends and family. I have a friend who I like to live vicariously through, the things she does, amazes me. I have a friend who is beautiful inside and out. She shows caring and compassion in times when I am not sure I could.  I have a friend who has been by my side forever, and I know she will always be right there (even when miles separate us) I have a friend who amazes me with her courage. She looked straight into the face of death and said "not gonna happen", she is strong, she is brilliant she is a true survivor.
